Foundation Friday

Hey guys, so im going to be carrying on my foundation Friday with you and this week i am reviewing the L'Oreal Paris true match foundation. A couple of years ago i used to swear by this product it was the first foundation that i ever used and i loved it. It used to blend really well and give a nice flawless finish. Then i started to try out other foundations so i ended up forgetting about this product. A couple of months ago i saw it in the drugstore so i thought i would re-purchase it as i used to love it.
So after loving it so much as my first ever foundation i tried it again and im not sure if they have changed the formula of it because it is not how it used to be. They say on the bottle that it is super blend-able and it matches your natural skin colour. Now i got this in the lightest shade because with all foundations i am always the lightest shade.

Now onto my opinion of the product. The consistency of the product is very runny now i know it is a liquid foundation but it just runs down my hand when i pump some out. The colour is way too light and i don't think it adapts to any skin colour. And as for the coverage, it used to give a really nice coverage, not too much but still makes you look flawless but when i have tried it again it doesn't give much coverage at all, now it was also going patchy on me, i have dry skin anyway and foundations are normally alright and dont go patchy straight away they do after some time but this one, minuets after applying it, it went patchy and didn't look nice at all, It also looked like i had put the full bottle on my face because it looked really cakey. Iv got to say i am not impressed with this foundation at all. I can't believe i used to use this everyday a couple of years ago, they must have changed the formula recently.

So overall i don't enjoy this product at all. There are so many out there that are a lot better than this!
I would love to know what you think about this, please let me know in the comments :)
